37- PRETERIT- NEGATIVE FORM

 Les négations se forment de la même façon pour les verbes. 
 On utilise "DIDN'T" (forme contractée) ou "DID NOT",
Regardez bien le tableau ci-dessous. Notez que le verbe reprend sa forme de base (comme pour les questions).

Exemple : "aller' = "go"  I didn't go to school. You didn't go to school. He/she didn't go to school. We didn't go to school. You didn't go to school. They didn't go to school.	Exemple : "jouer" = "play"  I didn't play. You didn't play. He/she didn't play. We didn't play. You didn't play. They didn't play.

exception :le verbe "be" et les verbes auxiliaires can et must.
